Stop by this friendly tavern near the waterfront and Sappho Square. The few tables with embroidered tablecloths are very popular with the locals, and have been since 1960. The small tavern is located in an alley off Ermou Street, under the shade of an arbor. One comes here to taste all the "classics" of Greek and local cuisine. Let yourself be tempted by an infinite variety of mezzes, among which delicate grilled sardines, a specialty of Lesbos, or octopus cooked in wine, all to be washed down with a local ouzo, of course.

Beware unfortunately the staff are so unfriendly, totally disinterested. When you arrive with big smiles and hello's...you are met with a scowling angry lady and a man who looks like he would rather be anywhere but there.
Running a restaurant is about good food, but to have 2 front of house employees who just sour an experience because both have such horrible attitudes. Get rid of them, employee staff who want to be there and reflect this in their interactions with customers and the restaurant should thrive.
