TAVERNE 1900

The best tavern of Chora - and perhaps of the whole island - is pleasantly located in the main square of the village. The tables are spread out in front of the old ouzerie-kafeneion, opened in 1900 and offer a splendid view of the Genoese kastro which dominates the Aegean in the distance. In the evening, you can enjoy the romantic and warm atmosphere under the garlands. And during the day, we prefer the tables installed in the shade of the trees. On the menu: a tasty home cooking, which mixes traditional recipes with a je-ne-sais-quoi that the others do not have.
