BACH ORGAN
Bach's organ in Pontaumur, the replica of the Arnstadt organ, an exceptional piece to play Bach's baroque repertoire.
This remarkable piece is a replica of the organ in Arnstadt, in the Thuringian region of Germany, where Bach was the first organist at the age of 18. It was on the initiative of the Association Bach en Combrailles that this pipe organ was reconstructed in the early 2000s. A year and a half of work was necessary on the part of the members of the association and François Delhumeau, organ builder in Creuse, to accomplish this mission. This exceptional piece is the best there is to play the baroque repertoire of Johann Sebastian Bach.
