The patron saint of Argostoli, the capital of the island, he is also known as "Panagia of Drapano" or simply "Drapaniotissa". His feast day is celebrated on September 24, when ceremonies are held in his honour. A procession leaves the church in the evening and travels over the Drapano bridge and through the streets of Argostol. A prayer is said in the main square.
