If you're spending a day in Assos, try to go there for lunch. You won't be disappointed! Right on the water, on the picturesque harbour of Assos, this family-run restaurant offers fine Kefalonia cuisine and a very good local wine. The food is really excellent. Grilled fish, squid, shrimp, spaghetti with shellfish and mussel risotto are among the carefully prepared choices at this restaurant. The deserts are also homemade and tasty! The restaurant has a beautiful view, even though it can get crowded.
