Venetian church with a rich history, dedicated to Christ the Almighty
Among the pretty little churches of the city, stop at the Venetian church dedicated to Christ the Almighty (Christou Pantokratora) which dates back to the 17th century. It is worth a visit. It was built in 1664 after the victory of the Venetians against the Turks. The oldest church of Lefkada is located 3 km west of the capital. It has a rich history. According to legend, on the road to Rome, the apostle St. Paul even stopped here to preach.
