CRESTED GREBE TRAIL
An interpretation trail home to numerous birds, some 30 species of dragonflies, amphibians and garter snakes.
The 2.4-kilometer interpretation trail runs alongside the Grand pond in Pulvérières and reveals four natural environments representative of local biodiversity: dry meadows, wetlands, pond and spruce forest. Part of the trail is accessible to people with reduced mobility. Explanatory panels and observation platforms enhance the trail. Many birds can be seen, as well as some 30 species of dragonflies, amphibians, snakes... This privileged stopover on the migration route of some 100 bird species is well known to ornithologists.
