BEACHES

It is possible to swim in the waters of Patitiri, on the beach west of the port. However, the sea and the beach are not very pleasant due to the large number of visitors. To swim nearby, it is better to prefer the beaches to the north-east of the city.

Beyond, the beach of Chrisi Milia is located 4 km from the capital. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available on this beautiful sandy beach. It is also possible to practice water sports. This stretch of turquoise water owes its name to its golden sand(chrisi means "golden" in Greek). It is bordered by a pine forest, and their shade is welcome in summer.
