BEACHES

The beaches in the northern region are quiet, especially the large pebbled area of Glyfa where you will find a few sunbeds and umbrellas near the hamlet of Steni Vala. Next to it, the beach bar of Suelto offers a small and pleasant organized beach. 6 km to the north, the point of Agios Dimitrios is striking with its clear waters but can be strongly exposed to the wind (beach bars and sunbeds on site). Finally, the beach of Gerakas is at the end of the road, at the northern tip of the island, and gives the impression of being alone in the world (caravan snack only).
