150 m from a bus station, restaurants, shops and beach Platanias, a beautiful hotel built in amphitheatre in a pine forest on a hill to offer a splendid view from all rooms and from all places. It is a comfortable establishment with a private balcony. Sauna, fitness room, restaurant and swimming pool… Possibility of half board.

We stayed in 2 different rooms because the first room, after 3 days of torrential rain, sprang a leak in the room above. The second room was a bit tired in terms of decor and equipment, but I suppose there was limited choice. Non-provision of fresh bottled water daily was disappointing, and only cardboard cups or tiny glasses were provided for drinks. The extremely thin towels were another negative aspect. Both rooms had great views from private balconies. The location is set up on a hill, which is great for views but you need to be fit to manage all the stairs. Overall, we were grateful that the Atrium could accommodate us at short notice at a difficult time; the hotel has many good aspects, but in comparison with many hotels I have stayed in around the world, and making allowances for the problems caused by the storm, it felt like a decent 4* hotel but not up to 5* standards.
Thank you Atrium
