Koukounaries, considered by many to be one of the "pearls of the Aegean Sea", is one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece and a postcard landscape: the place, bordered by a pine forest, is indeed splendid. As a reward for its success, you will find many activities (rentals, water sports, deckchairs and parasols in tight rows). In high season, it is crowded, except early in the morning, between those who stay on site and visitors. If you are in high season, go early, but take the bus or the road to one of the small coves around.
