VAKRATSA HOUSE
Comfortable bourgeois museum with articles, furniture, clothes and books
This museum is in fact a house that has remained "in its original state" and which allows us to rediscover the atmosphere of the Greek bourgeois homes of the 19th century. This villa was the former home of the island's doctor, which was later occupied by his three daughters, all of whom were unmarried and doctors. Left to the city by the last surviving daughter, the place has not moved and has retained much charm. A comfortable middle-class house, filled with everyday items, furniture, clothes and books. A good idea also with children.
