Skyros is not accessible from any other continental port except Evia, through the port of Kymi. Most travellers still travel to Skyros by ferry. In summer, 1 to 2 connections per day with the port of Kimi with Skyros Shipping. If you are leaving Athens, you should know that buses connect the capital to the port of Kimi every day according to the scheduled departures. In addition, weekly rotations are available at www.inskyros.gr Otherwise, connections are provided with the other Sporades, with Alonissos (5h20) and Skopelos (6h).
