This summer residence of Adélaïde d'Orléans, sister of King Louis-Philippe, has been brought back to life by the Region, which has owned the estate since 2003. Discover the remarkable ruins of the château, the huge vaulted kitchens, the chapel and the orangery. The exhibition Les Animaux de Ferdinand (Ferdinand's Animals) presents the Duc de Montpensier's collection, the only one of its kind in Europe, featuring 450 naturalized animals in dioramas. The park, which has been awarded the " Jardin remarquable" label, is very pleasant in fine weather (free admission). Temporary exhibitions and the cultural season bring the estate to life.

A voir absolument. c'est le dernier domaine royal créé en France au cœur d'une région Auvergne verdoyante. Des animations vous accueillent toute la saison.
Deux visites possibles avec guides et explications. Les guides sont très bien, expliquent clairement, sont souriants et attentifs. Très bien avec les enfants et soucieux d'un bon parcours pour notre poussette.
