I've been to Prague 6 times in 4 years and this was our favorite hotel yet! You won't need to rent a car! It is in the best location for walking to all of Pragues hot spots, as well as local shops, restaurants, a grocery store is just a block away, and busses. The rooms are charming and clean with the most plush cozy beds that are very hard to wakeup from. I believe each room is completely different and unique because our room was spacious, had coffee and tea on the table and an ice cold mini bar, unlike some of the previous reviews stated, and it had a newly updated full bathroom. But there was no A/C as mentioned. However we didn't need it the old stone building stays naturally cool at night and you could always crack open the window as I did in the mornings. The inside of the hotel has very cool atmosphere with a blend of the original monastery architecture, art and classic wood furniture and modernized twisting stairs, bathrooms, flooring and furnishings. The complementary breakfast was hands down the Best meal I had the entire trip!!! It has a large selection of fruits, cheeses, fresh breads, meats, fluffy scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, yogurt, crepes, jellies and jams, juices and the coffee was so good we made an extra cup (or two) to-go, and sat out in their garden courtyard afterwards to plan our day. They also had fresh egg salad and tuna salad, and I made a couple of little sandwiches to pack in my backpack for my lunch later while exploring Praha. My wife also enjoyed their nice selection of old books to read while she sat out in the garden with her coffee. She found one from the late 1800's and really thought that was neat to skim through. The staff was also friendly and attentive and even though my wife spoke to them in Czech the entire time, to me the spoke English so I wouldn't feel ignored. Awesome Place and we will be back!

V hotelu jsme byli ubytování na 2 noci začátkem letošního roku. Lokalita výborná v centru Prahy, personál na recepci velmi příjemný. Nicméně ubytování jedno velké zklamání. Na pokoji nám hned při příjezdu zůstala v ruce klika od loznice, vstupní dveře z vnitřní strany vsude odřené, v koupelně rozbita baterie u umyvadla a okolí vany špinavé. Co se týká snídani, ta byla velmi omezena, výběr pouze základní, personál k dispozici na snídani žádný, že bychom někoho o něco požádali. K musli nebylo nikde ani čerstvé mleko, a sunka k snidani druhý den smrdela, takže jsme ji nechali na talíři. Z peciva akorát tmavý chleba a balené bezlepkové Pecivo. Ani obyčejný rohlík. Myslím, že ať už je sezóna nebo ne, ubytování takové úrovně by mělo držet svůj standard u snidane celoročně.

Clean and pleasant and delightful.
Centered near old town so everything walking distance ie approx 30mins.

Our bathroom was small and quaint, no extra shelving for toiletries and such things but clean.

Staff welcoming and spoke english

I stayed here for four nights in December. It is nuts far enough out of the centre of the old time to make it quieter but close enough for an easy walk in. My room was small and the bathroom was part of the room so if you are sharing and not comfortable with going about your business with the person you are sharing with being the other side of a transparent pane of glass this is probably not the place for you.
The hotel generally was pretty quiet but some neighbours struggled to be respectful of others and could only communicate on the stairs and in the corridors by shouting.
The WiFi is very erratic and intermittent - dare I say it’s emotional, it was very up and down do if you want to stream something I’d use the connection to download it before you want to watch it.
Restaurant & bar is very good, decent prices and very friendly/helpful staff.

Byli sme ubytování na jednu noc a skvělé. Kuchyň moc sme si pochutli , Steak přesně tak jak jsem chtěl , Monastery Burger také super, snídaně bohatý výběr.
Pokoje čisté a klid.
Poloha hotelu také super jen bych si dovolil udělat větší reklamu u kostela abych více zaujmul kolemjdoucí.
Paní na recepci příjemná a ochotná vám poradit .

We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this unusual hotel. So much charm and character!

Beautiful and extremely relaxed hotel near the riverfront and the Spanish Synagogue. The bistro is fantastic, and you could spend hours sleeping with the sound of the fountain outside.

The restaurant is an absolute GEM. The hostel is in the best spot in Prague, 8 mins from the old town square and astrological clock, right outside the Jewish quarter.

But the food is why we keep coming back. The chefs are the best in Prague. The staff is incredible. Thank you Monstary Garden.

V tomto hotelu jsme se ubytovali na naše výročí 20 let od svatby, proto jsme chtěli si užít ubytovaní v centru Prahy a nevadilo nám zaplatit za noc 4.944,- Kč + další poplatky. Místo je opravdu nádherné, ale už při příjezdu nás čekalo překvapení, protože jsme cestovali se psem, a ti zde v hotelu můžou být, ale při přijedu nám sdělili, že nám musí dát jiný pokoj, kvůli psovy. Ok, ale pokoj byl rozhodně v jiné cenové kategorii, koupelna ve velmi špatném stavu (páková baterie u umyvadla, rozbitá, držák na ručníky též, a splachování WC také).
Při konci ubytování jsme sdělili recepci nespokojenost, ale po konzultaci s manažerkou, nám bylo sděleno, že daný pokoj má stejnou hodnotu. Opravdu neměl, škoda že nemáme fotky.

Klidné místo blízko centra, možnost ubytování už před 13 hod a zároveň i pozdní odjezd oproti jiným hotelům. Welcome drink a malá svačinka při odjezdu na cestu. Pokoj čistý, pohodlná a velká postel, výborná kuchyně a luxusní snídaně, možnost posedět na velké terase, která je vlastně uzavřený dvůr.
Zprostředkování parkování (za 500Kč) na 24 hod na celé Praze 1 v modré zóně. My jsme byli velmi spokojeni.

Hôtel très calme a l'écart de la foule et emplacement bien situé pour la visite de la ville. Proche de toutes commodités et restaurants. Petit déjeuner de très bonnes qualités. Chambre Junior suite 30m2 agréable. Manque de petites intentions en chambre (bouteille d'eau, boîte de mouchoirs).

Reall charm, that feels like your in Old Prague... Nice change from a standard hotel.
Staff are great, very accommodating and helpful.
In the center but also very calm and peaceful.
Defiantly recommend.

Dnes jsme navštívili místní vinné lázně Svatá Anežka. Skvělá vířivá vana a paní masérka byla velmi šikovná.Milý personál,mohu jen doporučit!Relax jak má být.

Hôtel situé dans la vieille ville mais au calme,possibilité de visiter à pieds les principaux monuments historique.Pour venir de l’aéroport bus 119 et tramway 26.Possibilité de massage et bain dans une superbe pièce de l’hôtel.Bref bonne adresse.

Proche du centre dans la vielle ville, tranquillité, grande chambre et très grande salle de bain, petit salon, le tout dans un style qui semble avoir échappé au temps! Charmante cour intérieure pour les beaux jours. Bon rapport qualité-prix.

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel durant 2 nuits, ce fut très confortable et plaisant, nous recommandons fortement cet hôtel très confortable et classe !
