MAMA SHELTER
In 2018, the former Park Hotel, masterpiece of the architect Zdeněk Edel, reopened its doors not far from Stromovka Park. This building, a striking symbol of Czech optimism in the 1960s, now houses the Mama Shelter Prague and awaits you with its 238 rooms: Medium Mama (18 m²), Large Mama (25 m²) or XXL Mama (44 m²), depending on your wishes, not to mention the penthouse. The little extras: pure satin sheets and a varied film library. Restaurant (Mama Eat) and bar (Mama Drink!) where you can eat and drink very well, in the dining room or on the terrace.

You can play billiard and kicker for free which is a nice thing in the evening! Staff is friendly!

The XXL room is really great and big for a familly of 3. We enjoyed the lovely view and great art deco style of the room!
Breakfast is fantastic you have a great choice of food and fresh jnapple and orange juices.
The only little thing to be improved is the reception staff attitude - even if they are 3-4 on the reception, they seems do not want to engage with you for a check-in or check-out. When I asked, I was told to go to a colleague of them (a trainee) that did a great job. Nevetheless, the attitude of the staff is a little bit disaponting.
