Coffee shops and tea rooms are generally open every day from 8am to 5pm or 6pm. Off-season tourism, you can find the door closed on some days. Bars open later, from 11am or even 5pm for some establishments exclusively at night. Most traditional schools close their doors at 1am.

As for gourmet breaks, you'll have no trouble finding inexpensive pastries and viennoiseries. Espresso coffee, on the other hand, is a little more expensive than in France.
