The Tenerife tramway currently operates on two lines. Line 1 connects Santa Cruz to La Laguna at 21 stations along a 12.5 km route, following an east-west route that forms a large V in the urban area. Opened in 2007, it runs all day and weekends, with trains every 10 minutes during the day and every 15 minutes after 9 p.m. and on weekends. Opened in 2009, line 2 runs from Cuesta to Tincer in 5 stations along a north-south axis, with 2 stations shared with line 1: Hospital Universitario and El Cardonal.

Très fréquent, très propre, rapide. Excellent moyen de transport à Santa Cruz et pour aller sur les hauteurs et à la Laguna. Cela évite de prendre une voiture pour visiter ces deux villes où il est difficile de se garer

Achat de tickets auprès des distributeurs automatiques aux arrêts. Super pour aller du cente de Santa Cruz au centre de La Laguna; pour rejoindre l'aéroport: arrêt à la gare routière de la Laguna pour rejoindre le bus mais le prix des 2 ne fait pas beaucoup de différence avec le taxi (si plus d'une personne, préférez le taxi qui est peu onéreux)

Ideal means of transport to make a visit grouped of Santa Cruz and La Laguna over the same day. Le Tramway (TRANVIA) links the centres of the two cities in about 40 minutes.
