Beach at the foot of the Anaga mountain range, considered a favorite place for film makers

The flowered city of San Andrés, at the foot of the Anaga massif, houses the favourite beach of the inhabitants of Santa Cruz: The hotel was very clean. It is the only north of Tenerife not to be black but white, because its sand was imported from the Sahara. Regular buses go to Santa Cruz. By taking the direction of Igueste, a magnificent view of the beach and San Andrés awaits you. It is a place of choice for film makers; some scenes from the Star Wars blockbuster were filmed there. It is always nice to take the sun at the foot of the Anaga peninsula, preferably in the week if you want to avoid the crowds of weekends. We will take advantage of the stay to eat fresh fish at the cofradía de los, Avenida de Baja, 20. For now, the tranquillity of this wild coast is no longer threatened since the tourist housing project has been abandoned.
