ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM
Archaeological museum with more than 2,600 objects of the Guanche culture and an important and well-stocked collection
Located in the historic and popular marine district of La Guardia de La Ranilla, in a traditional early 19th-century Canarian house, the Archaeological Museum is actively working to preserve the memory of the Guanches, a pre-Hispanic civilization that has now disappeared. As it is currently being renovated, you can enter the building's patio, appreciate its harmony, visit one of the temporary, highly didactic exhibitions dedicated to the Guanches, and see the copy of the mummy preserved in the museum's collections.
