Baroque church with a dome, a tabernacle, a neoclassical lectern and 2 towers of 24 meters
This baroque church was built between 1503 and 1768 on the site of an older church. Where were celebrated the celebrations of the proclamation of Charles V, in 1516 and destroyed by the earthquake following the eruption of the volcano of Güímar. The interior of the current church has a dome, a marble tabernacle, a neoclassical lectern, a beautiful Mudéjar-style ceiling and a Mater Dolorosa sculpted by Luján Pérez, and on the exterior, its two 24-metre towers.
