CASA DE LOS BALCONES
Iconic house with an interior patio with an embroidery school, a museum and an artisan and souvenir store
This emblematic house of the island is a 17th century mansion whose construction was completed in 1632. Considered to be the most important craft complex dedicated to openwork embroidery (calados) in the archipelago, it houses an embroidery school, a museum on Canarian customs, a craftsman's shop and a souvenir shop. The house is well worth a visit and the interior patio is really pretty, with its large gallery of balconies on the top floors and tropical vegetation. Upstairs, you will discover a reconstitution of a 17th century dwelling.

La maison est très belle mais la visite un peu courte.
Sous l'enseigne "Casa de los balcones" on va retrouver plusieurs boutiques de souvenirs dans d'autres lieux de l'île, à Garachico et Puerto de la Cruz notamment.
