Small wine museum with a view, dedicated to the making of honey, with a store and a restaurant
This former 17th-century Canarian farmhouse has been transformed into a small wine museum, complete with old wine presses. There's also a museum dedicated to honey-making, as well as a store selling artisanal products (wine, honey, mojos, handicrafts) and a tasting room.
If you lunch at the museum's restaurant, local wines are on offer, and there's no escaping the Tacoronte-Acentejo appellation, Tenerife's most famous. There's also a lovely view of the La Orotava valley, sometimes clouded by a sea of clouds, and of Mount Teide.
