Founded in 1866, the museum occupies two 17th- and 18th-century townhouses, linked by a space dedicated to temporary exhibitions. The Hôtel Dufraisse showcases 17th-century Flemish and Dutch schools,19th-century academic paintings and regional artists. The first floor houses the design and decorative arts collections. The Richard donation (ancient and medieval works, furniture from the 16th to 18th centuries, goldsmiths' and silversmiths' wares, etc.) is housed in the second hotel. Explore the medieval collections with an escape game.
