The Carolingian inspiration was built between 979 and 985. It is one of the oldest and most curious Romanesque churches in Auvergne, because the height and narrow naves of its naves meet the first stone-arch tests - th century. After processing, this chapel became a abbey church, depending on Cluny, and then parish after 1287. The architecture of this building has also been modified over time with crenellated defensive towers, apses or transepts, which were successively built and demolished after the periods. These transformations are another feature of this building. A beautiful statue of the th century Virgin is located above the entrance door. Inside, twelve frescoes were updated, dating back to the th century. On one of the huge pillars, the Visitation fresco represents the soft faces and avenants of the Virgin Mary and her cousin Elisabeth, in close proximity, the murals of the martyr's martyrdom of St. Agathe, Saint Michel lowered the dragon as well as the cerf Knight fresco of the th century, certainly the oldest.
