EL SALVADOR CHURCH
The main religious building of the city and the most remarkable, the church which has a rather austere gray facade of 1585
It is the main and most remarkable religious building in the town. The church was founded at the beginning of the 16th century and has been altered several times. It has a rather austere grey façade dated 1585 and typical of the Renaissance style, as well as a wide staircase and a black basalt bell tower. It has a classical Latin cross plan with three naves, a splendid Mudejar coffered ceiling and a sculpted stone choir screen. Together with the town hall and the fountain, they form a Renaissance ensemble that is unique in the Canary Islands.

J'ai particulièrement aimé la facade avec sa tour sur la droite.
