CASA PRINCIPAL DE SALAZAR
Particularly remarkable building, an example of the baroque noble architecture of the second half of the seventeenth century
This is the name of the most important house owned in Santa Cruz by the Salazar family, originally from the Burgos Valley. It is a particularly remarkable building, exemplary of the Baroque noble architecture of the second half of the 17th century. Note its coat of arms, surmounting the door framed by columns and its patio surrounded by galleries and wooden balconies. Today, it regularly hosts temporary exhibitions.
