At 2,040 metres above sea level, this mountain refuge is located on the crest of the Caldera de Taburiente National Park. It is designed for a maximum of twenty people and you can go there directly, as the entrance is free. However, you will have to bring your own sleeping bag and food, as you will not find any equipment on site, just a fireplace. No toilets or drinking water. It can be reached by the GR-131 trail, stage 2.
