In Fuencaliente, it is the traditional festival of wine and caballos fuscos: decorated horses forming a real ballet.
The Harvest Festival (Vendimia), is the traditional festival of wine and caballos fuscos: horses decorated with coloured paper form a real ballet in the village square. The day begins with the traditional "filling" of the fountain (located near the Council Square) with nearly 2,700 litres of wine. It will remain in operation throughout the festival, and this "attraction" is the most offbeat and appreciated by tourists and visitors. The pressing of the wine is carried out on the spot by a farmer and tasting of exclusive wines.
