HÔTEL MADRID
Hotel, emblematic and historical par excellence, with cafeteria and terrace in Las Palmas.
Emblematic and historical par excellence, this hotel is remarkably well positioned, opposite the cathedral and on a pretty square where the building of the Las Palmas literary cabinet is located. In total, it offers nineteen rooms, spread over two floors around a patio. White walls and dark furniture for room decoration. Lovers of cultural life will choose rooms with balconies to be in the front row of its excitement. With this in mind, all customers also benefit from a terrace lounge on the first floor. Symbol lovers will be able to choose room 3, the room where General Franco slept on July 17, 1936, the day before the outbreak of the civil war. The owners kept the bed, desk and mirror, just like they did. On the ground floor, a large cafeteria with a terrace displays photos of all the famous Spaniards who have come for a drink. Vladimir and Paco, the brothers no longer manage this hotel owned by the family since 1965 but still stay there.
