BASILICA DE LA VIRGEN DEL PINO
Renovated church partially equipped with altarpieces and a clock offering a visit not to be missed
This visit is a must. On September 8, a festival in honor of the Virgin del Pino is celebrated in this church. It is one of the largest romerías in the archipelago. It is located on the plaza del Pino and dates back to 1767, although it was partially renovated in the 1970s. Its façade opens onto three doors, and its sides each feature two entrances, as well as large windows and stained glass depicting the mysteries of the Rosary. At the back of the main altar you'll find el Camarín de Nuestra Señora del Pino, an icon frequently visited by parishioners. We also recommend a visit to the basilica's altarpieces and clock.
