HÔTEL RURAL FINCA LAS LONGUERAS * * *
Charming hotel in a former stately home with swimming pool in Agaete.
This former colonial-style stately home dates back to the 19th century. It stands colorfully amidst the wild landscape of the Valle d'Agaete and an orange, mango and papaya farm. A gentle landscape of fruit trees blossoming in spring and bursting with colorful fruit in winter. The house, also known as Casa Roja, has been converted into a charming hotel with ten different rooms, and retains the style and grandeur of yesteryear: parqueted galleries, spacious rooms, antique furniture, objects and engravings, works of art (don't miss the 1800s mail cabinet in the entrance hall). The swimming pool, framed by palm trees, offers a magnificent view of the barranco amphitheatre. Everything has been thought of to ensure guest comfort: rooms with safe, hairdryer, TV, minibar, small fitness room, TV lounge, reading room, furnished terraces, beverage service and coffee available. The evening meal is concocted by the in-house cook, Elsa, who knows all the secrets of good Canarian recipes. The staff take great care of you. A charming stopover.

En las noches, por primera vez, oí el sonido que emiten las pardelas ,una especie de gaviota que anida en los acantilados,no las olvidaré en la vida.
Me he alojado en dos ocasiones y sin duda volveré.
