Archaeological park classified as a property of cultural interest with over 700 tombs and an interpretation center

Covering an area of over one square kilometer, it is one of the most spectacular volcanic burial sites in the Canary archipelago, housing over 700 tombs, some dating back over 1,300 years. For its archaeological and geological value, the site was classified as a site of cultural interest in 1974. The site features an interpretation center and a series of trails with panels, models and audiovisuals in different languages.

Après Galdar , avec son village guanche et la Cueva pintada, après le Cénobio de Valeron, un grenier troglodytique guanche, voici un cimetière guanche. Il s'agit d'un ensemble de plusieurs dizaines de tombes construites sur de la lave, avec des pierres de lave.
Tombes souvent circulaires, avec un ou deux degrés d'élévation, suivant le rang du défunt. Très bien documenté par une série de panneaux explicatifs.
