Volcano at 269 m high with a view of the immense black lava fields stretching towards the north coast
Trails lead to this volcano and then up to the crater, a huge cone of black slag. At a height of 269 m, the view plunges down to the crater below and further on to Corralejo, the sand dunes of El Jable, Los Lobos and Lanzarote. On the other side, other craters open up, and huge black lava fields extend towards the north coast, traversed by long, perfectly straight stone walls built by the peasants. At the bottom of the twin crater of Bayuyo, a small enclosure recalls the agricultural interest of this apparently lifeless land.
