LES ÎLOTS
Site for discovering islets that are integral nature reserves: the islet of Montaña Clara and the islet of Alegranza.
It is from the beach of Las Conchas that we will see the islet of Montaña Clara, very close to the island. With barely 1 km² of surface and 256 m of height, it is reduced to a single volcano rising from the sea, whose gullied crater forms a small cove. Further north and about twenty kilometers offshore, the islet of Alegranza is the northernmost point of the Canary Islands. It covers about ten square kilometers and culminates at 289 m, with a volcano called the Caldera. Whose crater is more than 200 m deep. These islands are integral nature reserves, closed to visitors.
