The ferries departing from Circular Quay are part of the network covered by New South Wales Transport, so the caps also apply when you take the ferry. From Monday to Sunday, you can travel unlimited for AU$50 and on weekends, from Friday to Sunday, the daily cap is just under AU$9. This makes it a fairly economical option to visit the city by boat, particularly to Manly, Rose Bay, Watsons Bay and so on. You can use your bank card or the Opal card.
