A little way from downtown and Potts Point, the Wooloomooloo district nevertheless offers a number of pleasant restaurants. The Woolly Bay Hotel (formerly the Wooloomooloo Hotel) is located opposite the Finger Wharf (with higher-priced restaurants). You'll appreciate the quiet atmosphere on the first floor. This is where the main courses (burgers, pizzas, salads) are served, and they're all very good. For more delicate dishes, served as cocktails, you can head to the top level. The rooftop there is extremely inviting.
