World renowned, this is an annual festival and parade celebrating LGBTQIA+ culture every year in Sydney.

Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras (SGLMG) is a non-profit LGBTQIA+ organization that organizes the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade as well as several other events and initiatives throughout the year.it all started in 1978, when police raided a crowd celebrating gay rights when homosexuality was still illegal. Since then, every year Sydney celebrates with the world's most spectacular LGBTQIA+(lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, queer, intersex or asexual) parade.
