The Sydney Observatory is a combination observatory, museum, education center and gardens overlooking Sydney Harbour. Built in 1858, it remains one of the main scientific sites in Australia! As for the architecture, the observatory buildings were built in the pure Italian style! Each session usually presents the sky visible in the evening. This observatory is a good idea to visit for the traveler who wants to get off the beaten track of Sydney, with the bonus of a nice view on the city harbor!
