Military museum housed in a former prison, with a wealth of documents and weapons dating from colonial times to the present day.
The New South Wales Military Museum is housed in the former Victoria Barracks military prison, one of Australia's finest examples of military architecture. It features a wealth of documents, weapons and uniforms from colonial times to the present day, including the Boer War, World War I and World War II. British troops occupied the site until 1870, before the New Wales forces moved in.
