CAMPBELL STOREHOUSES
Former warehouses built between 1839 and 1861, close to Cadman's Cottage, home to high-end gourmet restaurants
Located next to Cadman's Cottage and opposite the Overseas Passenger Terminal, these old warehouses were named after Robert Campbell, a prominent Scottish merchant who purchased the land in 1799. Robert Campbell is known as the father of Australian trade and was the first man to break the monopoly held by the British East India Company. Today, restaurants, some of them upscale gourmet, have settled in these buildings built between 1839 and 1861
