Sydney facility housing boat parts to find pirogues, dinghies, skiffs and powerboats.
This building houses the rare pieces of boats that have made Australia famous since the 1960s. Pirogues, dinghies, skiffs, motorboats and many others are on display for the pleasure of enthusiasts. The Taipan, a skiff built in 1959, is the oldest Australian hydroplane and its tests allowed Ben Lexcen, its designer, to refine the keel of the Australia II, a magnificent 12 m America Cup winner in 1983.
