The Domain is a very popular park of about 34 hectares located in the heart of Sydney, on the eastern edge of the City, between the south of The Royal Botanic Garden and Woolloomooloo. It is managed by the Royal Botanic Gardens Trust. It is a popular venue for concerts, events and large outdoor gatherings, especially during the Sydney Festival in January. It is home to the Art Gallery of New South Wales, among others. It's also a great place to sit and have a picnic if the weather is nice.
