SOUTH HEAD
Beautiful coastal reserve located at the southern entrance to Sydney Harbour, with sublime views of the harbour and surrounding area.
This beautiful coastal reserve is located at the southern entrance to Sydney Harbour and is easily accessible from Watsons Bay. It is a great place to come for its sublime views of the harbor and to discover the surrounding area: Hornby Lighthouse, Camp Cove and Lady Bay Beach, The Gap (a cliff top view of the Tasman Sea), and, of course, Watsons Bay, where Governor Phillip first landed in 1788 and where Australia's oldest fishing village is established. Whale watching between June and September.
