CLARK ISLAND
A small, densely wooded island in Sydney Harbour, with spectacular views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
It is a small island, located in Sydney Harbour. In 1789, Lieutenant Ralph Clark, a sailor of the First Fleet, tried to cultivate a vegetable garden on this one hectare island. He abandoned the idea because his crops were constantly being plundered, but the island took his name. Clark Island offers a beautiful view of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Very wooded, it is very pleasant in summer. The island is mainly reserved for private receptions and cannot accommodate more than 150 people (the island is less than 1 ha). Access is only by boat.
