If you're staying in central Sydney (CBD), a day trip to Manly and the surrounding area could make a great excursion. Or, if you want to enjoy the Australian way of life and have the beach right next door to your resort, then Manly would be a good option to stay at for a few days. Manly's main beach is reached by crossing the Corso (Manly's main shopping street) from the wharf . Shelly Beach, a little further out, is very popular with locals.
