It is a favorite spot for sportsmen and wealthy people of Sydney. It was popular for tennis as Rose Bay is home to White City, which was from 1922 until recently the home of Australian tennis and contributed to Australia's reputation as a sporting nation. Rose Bay is home to the Sydney seaplane bases which offer a unique (and somewhat expensive) way to see Sydney. You can arrange guided tours or a picnic on a secluded beach.
