Waterfalls on the Couze d'Ardes provide a pleasant "misting" effect in summer, and a freezing effect in winter.
Slightly off the road, but signposted "cascade 1 et 2", the Cascades de Jassy are well worth a stop. Located on the Couze d'Ardes river, they offer a very pleasant "misting" effect on hot summer days. In winter, you're sure to see them frozen. The waterfalls are on the route of the Tour des Vaches Rouges and the Tour du Cézallier. On the other side of the road, you'll find the path leading to Lac de Roche-Orcine.
