CIRCUIT MOUNT PANORAMA
6,213-metre circuit on the outskirts of the city, hosting the annual Bathurst 1000 car race
This 6,213 m circuit is located on the outskirts of the city and uses roads usually open to traffic. Due to the geography of the area, there is an elevation difference of 174 m between the highest and lowest points. The Bathurst 1000 (since 1963, in October), a 1,000 km V8 touring car race, and the Bathurst 12 Hours (since 1991, in February) are held here each year. The National Motor Racing Museum is located at the entrance to the circuit and is definitely worth a visit.
