Old Dubbo Gaol is a former 19th century prison that allows you to explore the conditions and brutality of prison life, the daring escapes and the legacy of the site delivered in a mix of theatrical performances and modern immersive exhibits. The former city jail can be visited day and night, with holographic scenes and automatons, as well as actors and extras who bring to life the atmosphere that prevailed here from 1859 to 1966.
